Zoë Cousens has been working in the financial services sector for more than 30 years and was one of the first women on the London Stock Exchange floor in 1986. The Guernsey native, 57, moved to Dubai in 2015 and is the founder and director of Castellet Consulting, an independent investment review service with high-net-worth clients from the GCC, the Channel Islands and Monaco. Ms Cousens also founded the Women’s Investment Network in Dubai in February last year with the aim of inspiring women to become financially knowledgeable and independent.

Financial Freedom of Choice presentation to Mompreneurs Dubai

The second Mompreneurs Middle East Forum was on the theme of Financial Freedom of Choice.  Held in the beautiful Ballroom at Zabeel Ladies Club in Dubai, over 100 women attended the event and enjoyed listening to a range of topics which included exploring Digital Assets with Irina Heaver and ‘How to Invest in your own Portfolio’ with WIN Founder Zoë Cousens.  With the opportunity to network as well as listen to Keynote Speaker Donna Benton – Founder of The Entertainer, Panel Discussions, Mentoring Sessions and a Pitch Competition, the day was a huge success.

Investing in Art panel event, Capital Club, Dubai

The theme of last year’s Norton Rose Fulbright Ta’theer team was about creating and protecting a future which we can be proud of.  As explained by team member Hannah Dennehy, Ta’theer is Arabic for impact, influence and creating legacy, and WIN’s Zoë Cousens was honoured to be invited to speak at their event on the topic of ‘Philanthropy and creating legacy by investing in Art.  Joining Zoë on stage was esteemed art historian, lecturer, guide and TV presenter Rose Balston and Alexandra Tribe, international family lawyer.

Women Inspiring Leadership & Entrepreneurship Forum, Abu Dhabi

WIN’s Zoë Cousens and Founder Member Hanna Ylijukuri were delighted to be invited to speak at the Women Inspiring Leadership & Entrepreneurship Forum at the fabulous Bab Al Qasr Hotel in Abu Dhabi.  This 2-day event was dedicated to discussing the latest business trends, tips on breaking into an industry of your choice, and ways to identify successful traits amongst budding entrepreneurs.  Zoë and Hanna also provided two training sessions on planning for the future including investment and inheritance planning issues.  This well-attended event was kindly sponsored by Swiss private bank Semper.
